Climate Action Planning 101
Our foundational workshop -- Climate Action Planning 101 -- breaks down the entire planning process and teaches you how to account for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, forecast those emissions, identify the most common mitigation strategies and develop new ones, model resulting impacts, link strategies with co-benefits that directly resonate with your client, and communicate your findings! It's the whole package in two full days.
We can also breakdown the workshop to focus on the exact skills you want to learn or strengthen, such as developing quantitative skills, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and integrating co-benefits. These smaller workshops can be down in a day or less.

Advanced Climate Action Planning
Have you done this work before and want to do more and go further? We can help. In our Advanced Climate Action Planning workshops, we work with you ahead of time to understand where you are stuck and/or where you want to expand. ​Maybe you have performed a GHG analysis but want it be more complete. Maybe you can suggest common mitigation strategies but you need help making them more actionable. These workshops can be designed for those very purposes.

We create a customized workshop to teach you how to problem-solve on each of and/or on a specific tenet of the core methodology. These workshops take between one and three days.

Special Topics
The ultimate goal of this work is to create change. Through the climate action planning process, we focus on creating actionable and impactful strategies and through design of these strategies, we can find ourselves confronted with more questions! Why do we continue to suggest electrification in light of the harms of mineral mining? How do we account for embodied carbon? What impacts will our choices make on energy burden?

Our special topics workshops address some of the most common issues that we have faced within our own work. These workshops will last between one and two days.

If what you need isn't part of our core offerings, that's OK! We have done all variations of this work and can create a customized workshop that will meet your needs. Our goal is share knowledge and if there is a way that we can help, we will. The length of these workshops are content driven.
